Oh so humble

So this Friday my husband went to a research convention up in Huntsville and won first prize for the research he did over the summer. So another prize to put on his resume when applying for residency. Way to go! That's not really why I'm writing. What really impresses me is that later that night he offered to sleep on the couch so I could have the whole bed to myself, because I've been sleeping very poorly lately. After telling him no and letting him come to bed I realized only a few minutes later that hey, I really do sleep better alone. So I asked him if the offer for him to sleep on the couch was still up and because he is so sweet he slept on the couch. What a champ. After winning research awards he is still humble enough to sleep on the couch for his pregnant wife. He definitely knows what's important! I really do have the best husband ever.
