Shawn and Caroline like to play a game that I like to call "lets see if we can loose daddy's wedding ring" Really what happens is that Shawn pretends to hide his ring behind
Caroline's ear and then find it. She gets a kick out of it and its good daddy daughter time. I didn't mind it until about a week ago Shawn let Caroline play with his ring and she tried to trade it for a gummy bear. Needless to say we've put and end to the game. The lesson learned; never expect a 2 year old to pass up a chance to get gummy bears.

can you blame her? gummy bears are GOOD.
At least she didn't flush it down the toilet. (A little harder to retrieve.)
Oh, that's too funny! (It's funny, I guess, since the trade didn't actually take place!)
And from a psychological stand point, it shows that the need for food is more primal than the need for jewelry.
But really, what a hoot!!!!
Actually, I don't think it was a "hunger" need but rather a "sugar" crave - and those can be pretty persuasive. I'm an expert.
