Juice

Yesterday we went to a dinner welcoming the interns for Shawn's residency.  It was very laid back, outside with burgers and hot dogs.  We had a good time but realized that we're just a little bit different than most of the other people in the program.  First of all we were the only people with 3 kids.  Not everyone came so there may be a resident with three kids but we just didn't meet any.  There were some other residents with kids but they were in their last year.  I think what epitomized how different our lives are is the fact that we brought juice to the get together while everyone else brought beer or wine.  That pretty much sums us up in a nutshell. I thought it was funny.  We had a good time and we're excited for Shawn to start.
