Houston 2012

Vacation is over, and I"m a little sad.  Not too sad though, its great to be home but we loved spending time with family, and I especailly loved getting to hang out with Shawn EVERYDAY!  I know we live in the same house but he really knows how to vacation and we had lots of fun together.  I"ll just post some of the highlights of the trip.

I just thought this was cute, Voilet could follow Caroline around all day and not get bored.  Caroline loved it.

We also made it to the zoo and although it was too busy for my taste we still had a great time.

And happy again now that we made it over to the monkeys. 

We also made a trip out to Brazos Bend to check out the alligators.  It was a good day and saw lots of gators, a few a little too close for comfort.

And our trip wouldn't be complete without eating LOTS of treats.  We had the best cheesecake, blueberry lemon cupcakes, and pie!  Shawn and I also made it to our favorite Italian place, El Tiempo, and we of course got some kolaches while we were there.  We ate way too much but it was worth it.  A few other fun things we did were hanging out with our friends from Humble, going to the Hunger Games, and of course Ashley's wedding but I thought I'd give that its own post.
