Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

Last night we went to the Astro's game for an Elder's Quorum activity. It was really fun even though we were quite literally sitting the in the highest row up.

Here is Caroline and her friend Emmi. They had a ton of fun, clapping watching the train when someone hit a home run, and the biggest excitement, going potty. Caroline about died when she saw how many potties there were to choose from.

Here are the boys hanging out. Devin was a little tired and cranky but for the most part a good sport.

Here is the only family picture we got and I have to say it isn't the best but what can you do? Its a good thing I did my hair just to put it up because it was so stinking hot at the top. Oh well.

Because we've got one right here. This picture was taken a while ago but I just saw it and it made me laugh. I think we need to tighten up her pants. I hope it makes you laugh too!

More Milestones

Now to most of you this may be the ugliest picture you have ever seen but to me this is quite a big deal. It's Caroline's first picture of a person. She was asked to draw a picture for her uncle Scott and this is what she came up with. When we asked what she was drawing she said "Uncle Scott, and head, eyes, arms, and legs." I have to thank Grandma Funk for this because every time she comes over she sits and colors with Caroline for hours. Its her favorite thing to do and looks like its paying off! Thanks again Grandma!

Look What I Can Do!

So I've been wanting to take up a hobby and I think I've found it; sewing. My wonderful mother-in-law gave me one of her sewing machines and all the great accessories that go with it, not to mention a few much needed lessons in sewing. Needless to say it was a great hobby to start seeing as it was no money down! I am extremely grateful! This was the first thing I finished. I think it turned out pretty well. What do you think?

It totally made my day when I read you wanted to start a book club with me. I feel very special and have already ordered Peace Like a River. I can't wait to start our book club that we've tried to have for the past two years. Oops. Anyways, thanks for the invite, you made me feel special! I'll try and read as fast as you! Thanks.

One Smart Cookie

Just in case I don't say it enough my husband is one smart cookie! He got his score from STEP 1 that he took about a month ago and just like I told him he rocked the test! Even he was happy with his score. Way to go on a job really, really, really well done! We love you and are so proud!
