Tired

This pretty much describes everyone in our house today, except Devin. Caroline picked up the cold I had last week as well as my ability to cough for hours on end. Needless to say no one got much sleep last night. It was a pretty sad sight when she came in our room around 10:30 and kept making excuses trying to stay with us. Finally she said, "I want to snuggle with daddy." Shawn of course can't say no so she stayed in with us for a while until I convinced her to go back to bed. I thought we were out of the woods but sure enough about a hour later she came in again and I didn't have the heart to put her back in bed, so she had a camp out on our floor. She was pretty excited at first and wouldn't stop talking. After telling her she needed to try and sleep or go back to her room she got pretty quite except for the coughing. That went on for what felt like hours, poor little thing, finally at about 6 Shawn took her downstairs to try and let me sleep some more. Anyways, we're all pretty tired today and all looking forward to nap time!
