Yum, Yum!

I think I"ll just start out by saying I LOVE TO COOK!  Its so fun to try new recipes, new ingredients and make stuff up.  Today was a very fun day for cooking.  I tried a new recipe and made one up of my own.  First up was the whole chicken in a crock pot that was wonderful.  I think it'll be my go to recipe for cooking chicken from now on very easy and very tasty!  Next up was a fun recipe that I'm sure my sisters will dry heave when they hear about it but I thought it was pretty good.  Chocolate cherry chip cookies!!!  I found some cherry chips at Target for a dollar and decided to give them a try.  I took my standard chocolate cookie recipe and added some almond extract and the cherry chips and they turned out great!  I know this post is a little boring but I had to post, mostly for my own vanity, but mainly because I just really love food!

Ps. Recently I have been getting better at cooking and baking! Seeing Julie and Julia really inspired me! Which I'm sure you have seen, if not you NEED to see it. You would love it!

I think cherry chip cookies sound good, especially with almond extract. They sound like a yummy Valentine's day treat.
