We've had a great weekend. Much of our time revolved around Shawn's younger brother coming to town. Since we hadn't seen him for a while the kids decided he was new and called him new uncle Stan. They LOVED having him around. Devin wouldn't leave his side it was really cute. One point at church Devin saw that Stan was no longer standing by him so he started running around trying to find him. Friday we went to the Astro's game and it was nice to be so close but wow they're awful! They only got on base 3 times! It was bad, the other team hit a few home runs though so that was exciting just too bad it was the wrong team. We still had fun though. Saturday we went down to Galveston and toured the city on a DUKW (those things that go on water and land) it was cool. I had no idea immigrants came through Galveston before the Cuban missile crisis. Later we had lunch at Landry's (yummy) right on the sea wall and then went to Ironman (pretty good). Mothers day was great. Speaking in church does have its perks, I sat on the stand and had a VERY peaceful Sacrament meeting. The rest of the day we hung around Shawn's parents apartment eating and playing games. It was wonderful. So pretty much we had a great weekend, and are SO excited to have my little sister coming tomorrow!
On the tour of Galveston, and of course the kids had to sit by Stan.
At one point Devin actually tried covering Stan up with his blanket, that's big stuff for Devin to share his blanket.
I just can't get enough of this guy! He got his two bottom teeth this weekend and his latest trick; head-banging. Yup you read that correctly, my baby head-bangs.

Your talk was great Carrie!
I agree. You're talk was really good! Made me cry!
Hey, Ashley was a head-banger, also.
I'm glad you had a great mother's day weekend. I wanted to tell you at church but I didn't get the chance. Thanks for your talk. It was beautiful. I really felt the spirit.
I totally cried during your talk too- it was great. I thought it was prego hormones, but apparently I wasn't the only one crying. Good to know.
The last time we were in Galveston I saw one of those things that goes on land/water and I totally want to go on one now! That's awesome that you guys did it.
