Adventures in Nashville

I've been a horrible blogger lately.  While I've finally gotten the swing of our day to day life here I haven't really been able to find much time to blog about it.  So here's a quick run down of what we did last week.
1. Had a play date for Devin for the first time ever.  I know its sad that he's 2 1/2 and never had a friend over, he never asked before but, we're happy to report that he has several friends here!
2. Caroline found her kindred spirit.  She had a play date with a friend from primary and I'm pretty sure these girls are going to be best friends.  When Caroline came home she had a look of elation on her face that was priceless.
3.  Graham now has 4 teeth and can pull himself up onto anything, including me, which has lead to more than a few hairs being pulled out of my head if I lay down.
4. I made a watermelon bombe for the Relief Society activity and it rocked!  It turned out just right and totally made my day!  My only regret is that I forgot to take a picture of it.
5. We spent a few hours at Bounce U (just like Pump it Up) yesterday because Vanderbilt is awesome and puts on free events every month for the families of the residents.  Have I mentioned yet how great this school is yet, because it is! I loved seeing Caroline running into the inflatable walls and being her untamed crazy self, its really fun to watch.
6. Shawn learned that one of the attending in the ER is one of the former Bachelors from the show and I was really embarrassed for him, the attending not Shawn.  Sorry I think that show is really cheesy.
So that just about wraps up our week!  I'm getting used to being a single mom again but really it just feels like med school all over, only its better because Shawn is actually getting paid for his work.  Next month may be a little more crazy seeing as he works 20 straight days so I may not be loving residency so much then.  We love it here and can't wait for visitors to come hang out with us!  I promise you'll have fun!
