Santa's Coming! I know him!

I love movie quotes. Well today we took our turn to see Santa. Instead of the mall we went to a quiet party put on by the VHA. No lines, free food and fun. Doesn't get much better than that so we blew off our plans to do nothing and headed over. The kids loved it. I knew Caroline and Devin would but I didn't know about Graham. Turns out he loved him. I'm a little concerned how much he loves strangers. He'll go to about anyone that will pick him up. It did help that Santa have him a goodie bag and candy cane. Graham kept on walking back hoping to get some more treats. I love having free activities on the days Shawn is on call, its great! Here are some pictures of the kids with Santa.

I love how nervous Caroline looks. I think she was thinking that he would actually know if she had been good or bad.

And Graham loving the attention. Poor third child.

This is awesome. I see him thinking, hum what do I want?

Funky Sayings

When I asked Graham who was in charge today he raised his hand and said, "me"
As I was putting Graham down for a nap he looked up and said, "Me not tired EVER." Nice try.
On the way home from a mother/son activity I was asking Devin a few questions and I guess he had enough because he finally said, "Mommy can you not talk to me right now?"
When Shawn walked passed the kids coloring today he overheard Devin say, "I"m coloring a machine and it poops, and poops." Boys will be boys I guess.
Caroline says to me today, "How about we go shopping just the two of us while dad is on vegitation." Me, "You mean vacation?" Caroline, "Oops, yeah."
Yesterday Caroline asked if Graham was made of plastic. In response Devin said, "No he's made of boy."
As we were sitting down to enjoy some chocolate chips Devin said, "I like chocolate chips, they make me feel good."
Devin was in his room for a time out. When I opened the door to talk to him he ran over slammed the door in my face and said, "I'm not ready to talk yet." He's good at expressing his feelings.
A few days ago when I called Devin by his full name (Devin Michael) he looked at me and said, "No me Michael, me Devin." He's funny.
When I told Devin he needed to share his toy with Caroline he replied, "But I love it." Apparently he thought that meant he didn't have to share it. Sorry kid.
