Lights Out
Today we had a really big storm hit. Ok so not the biggest storm ever, we saw a hurricane come through Houston, but still big. It was big enough to knock out power for several hours and blow down LOTS of trees. I had no clue how hard the winds were until we went over to a friends house later and shingles were missing from houses and several trees were split in half. Crazy. Anyways instead of waiting around an increasingly hot and muggy house we went out to dinner. The kids were in heaven especially Graham who wants so bad to be like his older siblings. I've never seen such good manners on an 18 month old. By the time we got back from dinner our power was back on. Not a bad way to spend a black out if you ask me.

Can I trade you Violet for Graham sometime when I'm out with her? We couldn't get her to stop climbing onto the table tonight!
Good thinking Carrie...I spent the rest of the afternoon feeling traumatized instead. I'm glad you had a good time at dinner! BTW, I LOVE your header at the top of the blog. Great pix!
Yikes! But good idea to go out to eat...when the hurricane hit Houston and hit no power, we went to the grocery store and Borders just to walk around somewhere that had AC! :)
