Fall Break

I think I mentioned this last year, but oh well, I love that Caroline has fall break!  She had school off starting on Friday and doesn't go back until next Monday.  Here are a few things we've done so far.

Caroline has been begging for about 6 months to go ride her bike around the "lake" by our house.  We finally did it on Friday and it was quite an adventure.

Graham was such a trooper and rode his purple tricycle the entire 2 miles.  It was fun to walk beside him and see how hard he tries to be like his older siblings.

We also took a little walk down by the river before realizing how muddy it was.  Graham was not excited about getting dirty, Devin couldn't have cared less about getting muddy and would have jumped in the river if I would have let him and Caroline was terrified the whole time we were going to get in trouble, it was hilarious.

Here we are on another little trial.  We didn't stay long because I would really love to have lived in Tennessee without having to pull tons of ticks off my children.

Caroline and Devin both had soccer games but I was a little frustrated with Devin not trying that I forgot to take pictures of him.  I know I'm terrible! Caroline played really well however and finally scored a goal!  She has been so close so many times this year and finally got one in.  I was so excited I jumped up and down and made a fool out of myself and probably embarrassed Shawn but I don't care.

We also enjoyed listening to conference on Sunday and eating sticky buns all day.  It was heavenly until I got sick and threw all of it up that night.  I'm feeling fine now and ready to have more fun with my mom!  We can't wait to have her here and are going to have a blast. Hurray for fall break!
