An Update

So here's what's been going on in the exciting lives of the Funks. I"m sure everyone will want to visit after reading this exciting entry. I've discovered that I really do enjoy sewing, at least pajama pants anyways, and can whip them out pretty quick. My next projects include a super hero cape and a tutu for Caroline. If anyone has suggestions let me know. Next up Shawn.

Poor, poor Shawn. Third year has turned out to be quite exhausting for him. Between the elders quorum, rotations, designing a website for the medical school, and spending time with us he stays pretty busy. I think his favorite relaxing activity is playing Wii with Caroline. He's also been trying to get over a cold for the past two weeks. The other week I found him like this in Devin and Caroline's room. Thanks for working so hard!

Devin, Devin, Devin. What can I say other than he's nonstop. Don't be deceived by the adorable face he's quite mischievous. He's now standing up on everything he can get his hands on, walls, people, tables, chairs etc. He loves taking baths, pulling Caroline's hair, eating soot from the fire place, pulling up loose floor boards, eating shoes and being held by mommy. What a boy! And he's really starting to look like his sister.

Sweet Caroline. Other than throwing tantrums at bedtime she's been an angel lately. Her latest thing is being clean and is constantly going upstairs to wash her hands (really she puts soap on her ands and rubs it all over her body.) She also thinks she's big enough to go potty all by herself which trust me she's not. We've had a few talks about how mommy still needs to help her just a little bit. She's been a little lonely since her precious B is gone and loves going to see her (me too) but she'll settle for having other friends come over. Oh and she loves building towers of blocks.
