Miller Outdoor Theater

Today we ventured out and started our summer of experiencing Houston. Miller Outdoor Theater had a children's dance show and since we would have otherwise been sitting at home we braved the mosquitoes and headed out. It was really fun. It was shady and pretty cool in the seated area, much more pleasant than I thought it'd be. I must say I thought they'd do some cooler stuff but we still had a blast.

Caroline even got to go on stage and do the hand jive. I think she was a little nervous at first but started to get the hang of it. She was beaming when she came to sit back down. It was really cute.

Devin had a good time too. I think he enjoyed putting his cup in the cup holder and playing in the chairs more than watching. However, I did see him break down and dance a little bit. Overall it was a great morning and I can't wait to see Peter and the Wolf! I love that music.

Cool! I thought they only did stuff at night until recently. I'm excited for playgroup there.

You can tell your kids are Texans by the number of bug bites on their faces.

That sounds like fun for the kiddos. We're going to try to make it to Peter and the Wolf too. Maybe we well see you there. :)
