Weekend Update

Holy cow I'm becoming one of those bad bloggers that I hate. I'm really having a hard time putting my thoughts down in a cohesive way and I'm sure today will be just as scatter brained as the last several posts. Anyway, this weekend was wonderful! Friday we went to Austin for a friend's pre wedding dinner and had fun talking on the way up and back and witnessed a miracle. It turns out that our van can go SEVERAL (like 5-10) miles on no gas, it was quite amazing. And we were very grateful seeing as it was about 10:30 and we didn't want to be stuck on I-10 all night. Saturday we took advantage of the cool autumn weather and went to the zoo with some friends. It was fun other than the fact that I was contracting for a while but after that wore off it was great. After Shawn had reached his capacity of being around crowds we just lounged around the house enjoying the peace before the baby comes. I'm kind of hoping we have just one more quiet weekend ahead before baby mania but who knows. I also need some input on what pie to make for dessert group. Apple, chocolate, banana cream or key lime. Which ever one wins out I'll probably be making so hopefully people will check and give me some input!
