Oh the things kids say

We've had a pretty great day here.  These kids get funnier everyday.  Now if you don't think this is funny I won't be offended because I"m a pretty big dork and I think most of the words that come out of my kiddos mouths are hilarious.  So when we were deciding what game to play Caroline suggested Candy Land but Devin wanted to play Chutes and Ladders (toy story version).  I think both of them are about the dumbest games ever made so I let Caroline have her pick.  In response to finding out we were playing Candy Land Devin said, "No I wanted to play Woody Land."
Caroline is way too ready to grown up.  She is constantly talking about what she is going to be when she grows up.  She's narrowed it down to a doctor, engineer, and a teacher.  Today she started talking about what she is going to do with her kids when she is a mom.  I asked her what fun things she is going to do with them and she said, "The same stuff you do."  It made me feel really good that she thinks our days are fun b/c I'll be honest we've been having lots of stay inside and use your imagination while I clean days.  Anyways she also discussed her discipline tactics with me.  She told me that when her kids do bad things they will have time outs on the stairs but when they do things like bang on the doors she'll just have the daddy come upstairs.  In case you were wondering Caroline has a problem banging on her door when she's throwing a fit in her room I usually try to get her to stop but there's nothing like a 6 ft 3 in daddy to put just the right amount fear into a four year old. (don't worry we don't beat our children or really even spank Shawn is just better at getting through to her)
Poor little Graham hasn't been mentioned lately so I'll let you know what he's up to.  He's busy being the cutest baby EVER.  I seriously think I could squeeze him all day.  He likes to blow on his food before eating it and LOVES to run to the garage door when he hears Shawn come home.  I love it.  He's a bit of a daddy's boy.
