My little sister posted about why this year is going to be great. I thought it was awesome idea so I"m copying her. I know January is almost over but oh well.
1. Shawn will start his forth year of residency! It seems really crazy that he's already this far into the program but I won't complain because it also means...
2. Only 16 more overnight calls at the hospital! Starting in July Shawn will no longer have to sleep at the hospital when he's on call. I can't tell you how happy this makes us.
3. Devin starts school in August. I think he's going to love being around friends but not be so thrilled about all the work they do. It'll be interesting to see how he adjusts.
4. With Devin in school I will only have one child at home with me. I'm not sure how I feel about that or what to do. It could either be really boring or really fun but I can only imagine hanging out with just Graham will be the latter.
5. Only having one child play soccer! Caroline has decided to sit out from soccer this next season and I couldn't be more pleased with this decision. I think it will be much nicer to only deal with one schedule. Here's to not living at the fields on Saturday!
6. Hopefully convincing my little sister to FINALLY come visit me. Even if she doesn't we are very excited to see mine and Shawn's parents, and of course the Petersons for Thanksgiving (right?). I can't express enough how much we LOVE having people visit.
I thought I had a lot more but I feel like if I listed them it would pretty much just be the same as my last post. Anyway, here's to the start of a great year!

What a trooper you have been through all the LONG day and nights with Shawn's crazy schedule! You deserve Mom of the year in my book!
