Cast Buddies

We made it!  Devin now has a cast on and I can relax now, a little at least.  It was a very quick visit, in and out in an hour (being the first patient after lunch is awesome) and he was even told he was the best patient of the day.  They also took more X-rays and he looks good so we'll be back in three weeks to get the cast off and the pins out.  Can I tell you how jealous I am that there is a possibility he may get his cast off before me?  Not fair, at all.  Oh to be young and heal quickly. I'll take being old(er), healing slower, and getting to eat cake for dinner whenever I want to though.

My cast looks pretty sad and wimpy compared to Devin's.  Let's hope this is the last time anyone will have a cast on in our family.  I won't hold my breathe though, we're quite clumsy around here.
