Easter

Despite how cranky and angry at the world I've been lately we managed to have a great Easter.  It rained most of the weekend but we still managed to enjoy ourselves.  I had completely forgotten about an Easter egg hunt we were invited to the week before but we were lucky and were invited to another one this past Saturday.  The kids had fun playing with friends and I enjoyed some adult conversation.  Later in the day we dyed eggs.  For some reason I thought it would take a while but much to my surprise it took about 5 minutes.  I remember it taking much longer growing up but everything seems to take forever when you're a kid.  Sunday we enjoyed church and I was pleasantly surprised that Shawn was able to come even though he was on back up call.  After searching for Easter baskets (which I finally broke down and bought decent ones this year) and eating dinner we were ready for bed.  So here are pictures because I'm sick typing with this stupid cast.

Can you guess which eggs belong to which kid?

I have no idea why she keeps making this weird face but it'll be fun when she's embarrassed by it when she's older.

My boys really need their hair cut.  I think they're still pretty handsome.

He's crazy.

I bought the kids better Easter baskets too this year. I was tired of always buying cheap ones & then tossing them.

I can't decide what to do about Easter baskets. I guess I'm not the only one. :) I haven't made any decision yet so we used sand buckets this year. Also, I remember egg dying taking a long time as well and ours didn't either this year.

Your kids win the prize for best facial expressions. And good job on the egg dyeing-- I don't think I've ever done that with my kids! Is that lame? I feel like they're still too young for it to really be fun. Love the pictures!
