Homesick remedy

I've been more than a little homesick for Texas lately.  The last few weeks its rained, and rained and rained, and been above 50 degrees a total of 2 days.  The weather in addition to seeing my sister post about how beautiful it is in Texas and the fact we haven't been back there in a year has taken its toll on me.  Then yesterday I discovered something that made Texas feel much closer.  We were eating the samples at Costco and we tried some beef sausage that was incredible.  And it sounds dumb but I actually told the sample lady how much it reminded me of Texas bbq.  So much I almost bought some, which I NEVER do, I just eat the free samples.  Anyways when I found it and looked at the package I found that sure enough it was made in San Antonio.  So the next time I'm missing Texas spring, or good bbq, or my parents, or siblings I'm just going to head to Costco and eat my sorrows away with sausage.  Not a bad plan if you ask me.
