Field Day

We've had a busy week so far.  Just about everyday we had something going on with the kids.  First up was field day with Caroline.  If anyone remembers last year I was pretty disappointed in field day so I didn't expect much this year.  I was pleasantly surprised though.  I think it mostly had to do with the fact that Caroline seemed to have a lot more fun this year which is always fun to watch.

I can't believe she's going to be a second grader next year!

This was so funny to watch.  She was really good on the scooter and most kids were pretty slow on their bellies but it turned out to be the one she was best at.  She's pretty strong from all the monkey bars she does.

So here are the kids playing Just Dance on the Wii they have at school and I kind of thought it was lame to do it but nothing is funnier than watching 30 first graders try and dance to the Despicable Me soundtrack.  I think we need to get that game for our Wii.

The only thing that I think is really dumb about field day is the fact that they and out participant ribbons.  Really?  I really don't see the point but hey I'm not in charge.
