School's out for summer!

I don't think we could have had a better day to start summer.  After Caroline came home we went and had lunch at our friends house, played there for a while, came home to play outside some more and, then ended the night with hotdogs and more friends.  And the weather, holy cow this is what I thought all of March was going to be like!  Low 70's and low humidity, I will gladly take more days like this thank you very much.  Too bad the real summer weather will be back in a day or two but we are going to live it up while we've got. 

We may have also celebrated the last full day of school yesterday with 50 cent corn dogs at Sonic.  Combine that with 1/2 price drinks during happy hour and you get some ridiculously happy kids.  Thank you Sonic, we'll totally be going back for 1/2 price shakes this summer too.

I feel like he's about to say, "Corn dog power."  Trust me anything can be a superpower in our house.

And Caroline insanely happy to be doing something out of the ordinary.  I love that I can can fool my kids into thinking I"m the coolest mom by only spending $2.  

And here's Caroline getting off the bus for the last time as a first grader!  I swear she was just starting kindergarten.  Time goes by way too fast when kids are in school.  I'm excited to slow down and relax during the summer.  It's going to be fabulous!
