The Finals

Ok I admit it I'm a fair weather fan of the NBA.  I used to watch it with much more regularity but ever since marring someone who is not a fan of watching sports I can't remember the last time I watched an NBA game.  But this finals round I have really loved watching and the main reason?  The Spurs.  I really like the Spurs.  I remember when I still lived at home and Tim Duncan's contract was up and he visited a few teams that offered him lots of money but he stayed in San Antonio because he liked where he was. And I thought to myself, "I like you Tim Duncan."  So its really fun to see some of the same players I loved in high school and reminds me how much I really like San Antonio, like I would be one happy lady if we ended up there.  Now don't think anything of that statement because we really don't have a clue where we'll end up and it probably won't be there but I sure think it'd be fun.  For now I'm enjoying seeing a much older Spurs team keep up with and even beat down one of the biggest teams in the league.  Go Spurs!
