This week has been really, really fun. We have played with friends, gone to the splash pad and relaxed. What also makes it great is that its only been in the 80's this week which makes life really fun. I really wish summer could always be this fun. I even thought last night that I wanted to teach my kids how to play capture the flag with all the neighborhood kids. Then I remembered it doesn't get dark until 8 and I'm ready for bed by 9. Maybe when they're older. Today we continued the glorious summer fun with peach picking. I love going peach picking. We went two years ago with my brother and loved it. Does it financially make sense, well no. Its an hour drive and takes about 10 minutes to pick 20 lbs but holy cow they are the best peaches I've ever eaten in my life. We also played at a park nearby for over an our after picking to make the drive worth it. It totally was.
We love Pratt's Peaches.
Devin's friend Jon was even there. His family moved to Pennsylvania last year and they were visiting for the day.
We picked a total of over 100 lbs of peaches. Yes 100. I only took 20 lbs home with me.
Graham and his cute little smile.
Caroline loved it, just not getting juice all over her hands.
Pulling the cart back to the front.
After peaches the boys all wanted to ride together to the park, can you tell they were excited? Now I just need to figure out what to do with them. Peach crisp, peach ice cream, smoothies or just plain, they're so yummy!
