Enjoying our pie after Thanksgiving feast.

As you can see we had a fabulous Thanksgiving this year. We stayed at home and loved it. We took it easy and prepared the pies together which is no easy feat in our tiny kitchen. Shawn and I made most of the dinner together while the kids slept and then had everything set up for them when they got up. I don't think they've ever been so excited to eat food. Devin wanted everything on his plate and got upset when he saw something on Shawn's plate and not his. They were a little too excited and didn't eat much the actual dinner. They were loving the pie afterwards. We also set up a nap zone and watched ELF afterwards. It was a fabulous day and we're really excited to make more traditions next year.

I like the idea of watching a Christmas movie on Thanksgiving night. I may have to start doing that!
Awww how fun! I love that Devin wanted everything on his plate whether he was eating it or not, LOL!
How fun! We have never tried to do Thanksgiving all on our own. Glad everything turn out so well.
