Caroline the Killer

Caroline got a new nickname today from one of her friends.  "Caroline the Killer"  Catchy right?  Let me explain.  Well today at playgroup we went to a park that has lots of butterflies.  Caroline and her friends decided to try and catch some butterflies with a little net that was there.  Instead of gently trying to scoop them up in the net Caroline decided to hit the butterflies with the net, killing them and then picking them up.  She was so proud of herself for catching them she ran up and showed me the dead butterfly.  I asked her why it was dead and she said, "Well I whacked it and then picked it up."  I guess it is easier that way, just not as nice.  After doing that another time or two I told her it was not ok to kill butterflies just so you can look at them at which point her friend came up with Caroline the killer.  In contrast Devin had about 10 butterflies land on him while we were there and he got so fed up with them he tried shaking them off.  These two couldn't be more different!

Graham had a good time too.
