Soccer Saturday

Saturday was the first soccer game of the season and just like last year it was HOT!  I really hope it cools down quickly because I don't think I can spend 2 1/2 hrs watching soccer in the heat.  Devin had his first game ever and lets just say he has a lot to learn.  He stood in one spot most of the time.  By the end of the game he finally started to realize he's supposed to chase the ball.  He touched the ball twice once it ran into him and he watched it roll away and another time his coach let him kick it in.  Caroline on the other hand didn't miss a beat.  Her team didn't win but she had several defensive stops and played really well.  It should be a fun, albeit long season.  We'll see how this Saturday goes when I don't have Shawn to help out.

Trying to muster up the courage to get the snack after the game.  I think the snack afterwards was his favorite part.  We also decided that Graham will need to start as soon as they let him.  He was not content sitting by letting Devin and Caroline have all the fun.  He actually ran over to another field and tried to join a team.
