Perspective

The other day I was talking to my dad and wishing him a happy birthday.  When I asked him how his day was he said it was great and my siblings at live by my parents threw him a fun party and as a present he didn't have to clean up any of it.  I laughed and said that sounded like an AWESOME present.  Caroline then asked what he got for his birthday and when I told her she looked at me like I was crazy.  I guess if I was only six not doing the dishes would sound like a pretty lame gift, but now that I'm 26 it not only sounds great but it is going to be my gift to myself.  I'm pretty excited about my birthday now.
