Soccer Saturday

Can I just say that I love soccer?  I don't know if its the fact that both kids have practice at the same time, and place, or that their coaches are awesome or all of the above but I'm loving it this season.  The kids had their first soccer games of the season on Saturday and it went fantastic.  First up was Devin and even though it was pretty stinking cold that morning he scored 2 goals!  He did great and seems to be loving soccer more and more.  He may not be the fastest player out there but he sure seems to get the ball plenty.  Caroline's game wasn't until late afternoon which was great because it had time to warm up, we are pretty wimpy when it comes to cold weather.  Caroline's game went great as well.  We've been playing with the same team for 4 seasons and they've gotten good!  They are the cutest little girls but they can play!  Caroline played a lot of the game and did a great job on defense as usual and I think she scored a goal.  Sometimes its hard to tell when about 6 girls are crowding the goal.  Either way she played her little heart out and had a blast.  By the end of the season I may be ready to have my Saturday's back but it is so much fun watching these cuties play soccer!
