Caroline's Journal

This week is the last week of school for Caroline so we've been getting a lot of her work that she has done throughout the year.  My favorite thing so far are her journals.  They are so funny!  I always want to remember some of these so I thought I'd write down some of her entires.  I'll write exactly what she wrote and then the translation.  I have loved reading these.  

First up is her memory book.  Some of the questions are about what your parents jobs are and Caroline said that I wash clothes and Shawn's job is working for emergencies with bones.  Another question was what do your parents do for you.  And I help Devin and Graham and her clean the playroom and dad play's with me.  A little unfair if you ask me.  

So here are few of my favorite journal entires.  I love how little kids think.  

Friendship mens that you rile like sum bode.  I like Anabith.  

 Friendship means that you really like somebody.  I like Annabeth.

The tooth fairy kulecs teth.  Wen you loz teth the tooth fairy kums at niet.  

 The tooth fairy collects teeth.  When you loose teeth the tooth fairy comes at night.

March came in like a lion.  Because thir wur tnonatos.  The next day it stil was.

On Halloween I go trigrtreg.

On Halloween I go trick or treating.

For Thanksgiving I ate mashbtados.

For Thanksgiving I ate mashed potatoes.

It was because it rile sugird.  Then it chrnd purple.

I still haven't figured this one out.

Snowflakes or gud to kach.  And bild a snoman.

How is Mom?  She is gud.  How is bruthr?  He is gud.

She also made a firefly and described it. 

My bug's name is Funkee.

My bug is a firefly.

He likes to fly.

He can dans.  (dance)

He eats fllawrs. (flowers)

He's special because he is a dansen firefly. (dancing)

Now some of the big words she got right because they had to use them in a sentence which is why Halloween and Thanksgiving are not spelled like holowen and thnksgvg. 

She has learned so much this year and I'm sad the year is over.
