I have no idea what is wrong with our family. We have got to be the most accident prone people in the history of the world. Anyone that is on instagram already knows but I need to put this on the blog for grandparents far far away. Yesterday right before going to a birthday party Devin was laying on the couch and told Caroline to pick him up. So being the awesome sister she is, Caroline picked him up by his feet on the couch and somehow managed to drop Devin on the floor and he landed on the exact same bone he broke 4 months ago. He cried for a while but stopped after a while to I figured he was ok. He went to the party had a good time but he wasn't using is arm like he should. His elbow was swollen but we decided to wait until today to see if he'd be better. Yeah it wasn't better today so we got to spend a few hours in the ER this morning getting x-rays and a cast on. When I arrived at the ER I told the nurse his name and she said, "Are you.." and before she could finish I said, "Yes we're Shawn's family." I told them he was on his way over and we just needed some x-rays. We were out within an hour and a half and even made it to church one time but only stayed for sacrament meeting. I didn't have it in me to explain 100 times how this could have happened again, and I was exhausted and felt a little sick. It seems only right that after a day of relaxation and bliss we end up the ER the next day. That just seems to be our reality. On the bright side he didn't need surgery but at this point I don't think it would matter since we're so close to our max out of pocket. And they didn't even have to consult ortho, we brought our own. Well cross your fingers CPS doesn't show up on our doorstep in the next few days.
He even found some blue plaster for Devin, a rare find in the ER.
Does this look familiar to anyone? I could have just cut and paste from the last time this happened.
Caroline plugging her ears because the saw was too loud. Shawn had to cut the cast so he has room to swell. This is getting a little ridiculous.

You just don't have the best luck! But I have to say, Shawn went into the right field. He gets enough experience on his own kids. He'll be an expert by the time you're done.
