We celebrated Caroline's birthday by going to the Museum of Natural Curiosity. It was so fun the kids could have spent hours there!
They had these cool rope bridges that were a little high for my taste but I faced my fears and went on them anyways. I did make the mistake of telling Phillip I wasn't keen on heights so he made sure to make me nervous by shaking the bridge while we walked across it.
See they're kind of high!
Devin's floating head!
This was his favorite part, giant legos.
The boys busy at work.
Caroline and Maya.
Water works!
Trying to make a cloud.
The kids played so well together, it was so fun to watch.
We went back the next day because we had so much fun, and ventured outside this time.
The smallest marry-go-round I've ever seen. Loved it.
Caroline on the zip line.
And on the turn table.
Graham digging something up.
Poor George had a rough start at the water table. We put him next to Andrew who was so excited to play with his buddy he started grabbing George's arm and accidentally scratched him then Devin came and dumped some cold water on his head! He got over it and enjoyed himself though.
Andrew was in heaven.
Cousins working together.
Any guess where this is headed?
Devin built quite the pipe system.
Very proud.
The boys loved building something "taller than grandpa"
And another day at the super, happy, fun place. Maya didn't get to go the first day but we went again an had tons of fun again. Steve even jumped off the bounce house that had a 10 ft ledge that you had to jump off into a pit of foam squares. It was hilarious and really hard to get out of. I almost got stuck a few times! George was very happy to hang out with Grandma.
No trip would be complete without a visit to the Iceberg. Yum.
One last picture before our flight.
Devin was my seat buddy on the way home. We had to get up at 4:15 for our first flight and he was so good. All the kids were, and he really loved all the snacks we got on the flight. He seemed ready to be on the plane all day. Oh to be young, and have a window seat, and plenty of leg room!
I feel the same way about leaving buddy! It was so fun to stay up talking and hanging out together. We can't wait to go back!
