He actually threw a fit when we left to go home because he wanted to play on the firetruck.
So this weekend was awesome! Shawn finally had the weekend off so we took full advantage and had a great relaxing weekend. Friday night we went on a DATE! Yes you heard me right, a date. Thanks to my mom and Shawn's mom we have enough Cheesecake Factory gift cards to last us a year so obviously we went there. It was fine good food but we were the lucky ones to sit next to the most ANNOYING teenage girls in the world. They were wearing tutu's, that's right tutus, and of course it was one of their birthdays so they decided to yell at the top of their lungs in celebration. I was really embarrassed for them. I don't think they cared though. Oh to be 14 again. I forgot how nice it is to go out with Shawn without kids.
Saturday we went to a birthday party for one of Devin's friends. Well as close as kids can be at that age. It was really fun. They had cupcakes and it was at the park, Caroline's two favorite things. The rest of the day we ran errands and hung out with friends and played ROCK BAND. I dazzled everyone with my vocal styling (not really) and Shawn rocked out on the guitar. I also got to run some errands with Caroline and got tons of fruit! Oh I love fruit! However, I think the highlight of the weekend was Shawn putting on America's Funniest Home Videos. Anyone who knows me (Shady) will know that despite the corny jokes and predictable videos I can't resist it. There's something about people getting hurt on video that I just think is hilarious. I wish every weekend could be this great!

I love AFV too! Except it ticks me off that they always pick the dumb videos when there's some pretty funny ones that should win.
Oh, the kids are SO cute! I miss them!
Oh, can we PLEASE watch AFV when I come visit? I miss that!
