Here comes the sun
WAY too early in the morning. The past few weeks the kids have decided to start their day around 6:30. This morning Shawn heard them at 6 jumping around. Now most of you may think that's not a big deal, but for me I refuse to deal with them before 7. Not because I don't love them, but because I know they will stop functioning properly around 10 if I let them get up and start the day that early. We think the reason they're waking up so early is because the sun is up beating down on their room around that time. Its driving me nuts, at least a half hour every morning I hear, "MOMMY, I WANT TO WAKE UP!" I don't think she realizes that she already is up, waking me up at the same time. So we don't know what to do. We've started pushing back their bedtime but that really hasn't really delivered the results we would have liked. So does anyone have any ideas? Please let us know.

blackout shades. they are worth the investment.
totally worth it - put them up TONIGHT. remember how dark it was in Mabel's room in our old apartment?
I say give them chores to do in the morning before you get up. That'll fix them. (although black-out shades would do as well.)
Or get up with them and when they get tired at 9:30, put them down....
Kira has been waking up early too. I thought it was because it's been a little cooler at night, but maybe it's the sun. She wakes up and yells "GO, GO, GO". Sometimes I wonder if our neighbor downstairs can hear her. Oh well.
I am so excited you are having a BOY!!! and can I say that Caroline has great hair (just like her mother)
