Sneak Peek

Today was the greatest on call day this month. The kids and I headed out to Katy for Annie's party. Luckily we got there early and Bethy, being the great sister she is, took me over to her office so we could take a peek at the baby. Of course we wanted to find out what it was but the little stinker wasn't too cooperative. However Bethy wouldn't give up and we now have a pretty good idea what it is. Drum roll please... another boy. At least that's what it looked like to me and Bethy. I wouldn't take my word for it, but She's never been wrong so I'll believe her. We only got one good look and then of course the boy had his hand down trying to hide himself so we couldn't see, and then proceeded to sit indian stlye so the show was over at that point. Shawn is very excited, I think maybe more because he thought all along it would be a boy and he LOVES being right. Ryan was really excited that his little boy will have another boy cousin to play with. I had to take a few deep breaths seeing as Devin is very exhausting some days but it'll be fun for him to have a brother to wrestle with instead of Caroline. Boys are just funny, and they're less work as teenagers right? Soon our house will be overflowing with testosterone! Or as Shawn says, the boys at least have a fighting chance to have a say against the crazy girls. We don't have a name but I put one up to see if it would be vetoed by Shawn and he liked it. Garrett Rodney Funk, we'll see, I like it but I"m not sold. We also had fun at Annie's party. She is such a sweet girl and seems really excited to be big enough to play with Caroline and Mabel. All in all a great day. We can't wait for tomorrow to see Aunt Sandra and Uncle Phillip oh and Shawn too.
