A Look at the Summer

I'm starting to have the feeling this summer is going to be a long one. Mainly I'm thinking this because of Shawn's ridiculous schedule for school. June he's on internal medicine at LBJ, which shouldn't be that bad but he's on call every 4th night. We're going through that right now and I think the kids are forgetting who he is. July he starts his ortho rotation here at UT. The only upside to this is that its here, so we may see him for a few hours a week, and I don't think many of those he' ll be awake for. August he's gone for the month doing another ortho rotation in Utah. September he's gone again this time in North Carolina for yet ANOTHER ortho rotation, yuck. By October I"m pretty sure our kids are going to think I'm their only parent and are going to wonder who this strange man is that is living with us again. The only thing keeping me going is some of the fun stuff we have planned for the summer, which include, a day at Sea World, visits from both sets of grandparents, visits from all my sisters (that don't live here), trips to Miller Outdoor Theatre, Asher's blessing, dessert club and anything else I can come up with to keep myself busy. If you have any ideas please let me know, I'm sure we can fill them into our schedule.

there is a newly decorated guest room and a freshly painted baby room with a spare mattress in it - perfect for long stays with the petersons!

I say just come stay with us for the summer. Abby would love friends.

There is an extra room at our house too. I am sure Asher would love to go to all the pools in Cinco with Caroline and Devin this summer. Plus I would love some adult interaction during the day being at home these past few weeks.

Well, I have three spare bedrooms, one for each of you. And all the tacos you can eat! Do I win?
