All Grown Up

Tonight Caroline had her first soccer practice.  She loved it and was very excited to hear that she gets to go back every week for more practices and games.  It made me a little sad to see her being so big and grown up but its also so much fun!  She was a little nervous at first but once she got warmed up she was her usual talkative self, chasing her teammates around the grass.  School also started today and I can't believe Caroline will be going next year.  Just thinking about it makes me
want to cry, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be the pathetic mom that cries and embarrasses her kid on the first day of school.  I'm glad I still have another year with her at home.  Devin has also been acting big lately.  For whatever reason yesterday he decided to say this to me, "Mommy, I'm a good man."  It was so funny and now when I ask him if he's a good man he smiles and says, "yup."  Usually he says, "I not (whatever you called him) I Devin."  And of course this entry wouldn't be complete without mentioning how big my baby is getting.  Graham is learning how to climb the stairs, and into pretty much anything he thinks will get him in trouble.  I think he has a lot of his sister in him.  I'm in trouble.  A few days ago while I was making dinner I looked up and found that he had gotten into the pantry, opened and spilled an entire container of cornmeal on the floor. The joys of motherhood. Anyways, here are some pictures of Caroline's practice.

For some reason she had her hands behind her back almost the entire time.

Waiting for her turn to kick the ball.

She was thrilled to get her uniform and once we put it on she felt much more comfortable talking to her teammates.

And Devin of course can't be left out of anything.  He was a great supporter cheering for Caroline when she did anything.  What a sweet brother.
