A visit from Reed and Papa

My parents came to town for the weekend and we had a great time with them.  We did some fun stuff and of course forgot to take pictures of most of it but I do have some pictures to prove they were here.  You'll have to ask them if they had a good time.
Saturday we made the most important part of the trip, a visit to the Pancake Pantry.  We got the same sweet potato pancakes we do every time we go and I loved every bite of them.  Then we headed off to the Adventure Science Center and I don't know who had more fun, the kids or my mom.  We love that place and can't wait to take the Petersons when they come.  After running around there we tried to get cupcakes at the Cupcake Collection but they were closed for the weekend so we ventured to Gigi's to see if there cupcakes were as good and they were not.  Oh well next time we'll go to the best spot!  For entertainment for the evening we went to the Folks Festival downtown and mainly ran up and down the hill in front of the captial.  We did hear some good music but it was too often interrupted by someone talking.  Sunday was pretty boring and rainy but we managed to get a few games in here and there.  Monday we wandered around Opry Hotel and stayed out of the cold rainy weather.  We had a great time and hope to see Reed and Papa again soon!
