Why I Love Sunbeams

I teach four 4 year old boys at our church.  They are energetic, adorable, and hilarious.  Today for example I was trying to keep two boys from being a little to silly so I decided to try and sit between them.  I leaned over to one of them and asked, "Do you want to sit in the big chair?" My chair is a lot bigger than the tiny ones used for the kids.  He was excited at first and switched seats with me but after about a minute he'd had enough and wanted back in the smaller seat so he leaned over to me and said, "Hey can I sit in the little chair again.  I don't think you should sit there you might brake it."  Thanks a lot.  I gave him his seat back and laughed to myself that he had no idea that was maybe not the nicest thing to say.  He then proceeded to fall asleep with about 30 singing kids around him.  I picked him up and took him to class where I then laid him on the floor, he then woke up and the first thing he asked was, "Did I miss snack time?"  I love getting to hear all the weird funny things they say.  The other week I asked the class how would they show kindness to someone that was sick.  The best response was, "I'd bring them a donut."  I'm pretty sure that'd make me feel better 99% of the time.  We also get constant updates on Super Mario Brothers, Heman, and other superheros during the lesson, there is never a dull moment with my class.

I used to teach Sunbeams and LOVED it!! I loved the funny things they would tell you about their parents too, haha (like once a little girl said "My dad had kleenex in his nose all morning!") ha
