Halloween

We had a GREAT Halloween this year. Saturday we went to a party with some friends from soccer, Sunday we carved pumpkins, and of course went trick-or-treating tonight!  Last year we did none of those things and I had a sick sister staying with me so all the activities this year were a welcome change!  Caroline was supposed to be Belle but at the last minute she decided she didn't want to "just wear a dress up" and opted for a Cowgirl instead.  I don't know how wearing regular jeans and a hat are cooler than a dress up but oh well, it was easy and she was happy!  Devin was Eugene Fitsherbert aka Flynn Ryder from Tangled.  To be honest he looked a lot more like a pirate but that's what happens when I make his costume last minute.  He loved it anyway because well he's Devin and great like that.  Graham was a monkey and was so cute and loved getting candy every few minutes.  Shawn even made it out with us tonight so we were all happy about that.

Caroline and her friends hanging out at the party.  Graham was really cute that night he heard a song that he liked and pulled me to an open space and started dancing with me.  It was my favorite moment of the night.

We went to our friends neighborhood with a big group and had lots of fun!  Too bad our kids were pooped afterwards and we headed home after trick-or-treating, I would have loved some hot cocoa and hanging out!

Caroline and Caleb were cowboy/girl buddies without even planning it.  This year has renewed my love of Halloween, I'm excited for next year!
