This Weekend Stinks

I"m not kidding it seriously stinks here.  Last night Shawn and I were relaxing when all the sudden it smelled really bad, like worse than stinky people bad.  We think a skunk sprayed really close to our house or maybe even at our house because when we got home from soccer this morning the house still smelled.  Here are a few more reasons why this weekend stinks.  Shawn hasn't had a day off in over a month.  Yup a month so much for having one day off a week, whoever said that is a big fat liar.  We're both a little worn down and would really love for him to have a just one day off from work.  Today he was able to come home around 11 and we were hoping to hang out and watch a movie tonight but he got called in around 6 and probably won't be back until late tonight because people can't seem to keep their bones in one piece for the weekend. 

 However not everything about this weekend sucks. Devin scored a goal at his game today!  It was so exciting, something finally clicked and he did a great job even stopped someone from making a goal and then took it all the way down the field.  Caroline saw how great Devin did and decided to one up him.  She didn't score a goal but played really well, I was impressed.  Nothing like sibling rivalry to get her going. Anyways instead of watching a movie with my hubby I ate pumpkin ice cream for dinner, and am now eating popcorn and watching Harry Potter for the millionth time because it takes me to my happy place and makes me forget how much I hate residency.  Here's to hoping next weekend will be better!
