The Last Supper
Last night Shawn and I had a last supper of sorts. It was his last full day at home until he leaves so we decided to go all out and make it good. And oh my it was! We made steaks (which were awesome) my mom's rolls, mashed potatoes and some very sweet cantaloupe, and double fudge brownie ice cream for dessert. We even waited for the kids to go to bed which made it even more fun. I love my kids but its really nice to enjoy a dinner without having to get up 5 times or remind them of their manners. It was a really fun evening and we even stayed up until the wee hour of 10! I don't know what my deal is lately but my body seems to want to fall asleep around 9 these days. Its pretty sad. Anyways it was a great evening and we're really going to miss Shawn when he's gone!

Yummy! That dinner sounds delicious.
That's going to be hard. Brian and I have been separated with the military for three months a couple times but I didn't have two kids. Please don't hesitate calling if you ever need anything. We would be more than happy to help.
Awesome, Bex! Now you're ready for the big marathon.
You'll have everything under control!!!
miss you carrie.
