Oh What a Night!!!

Its a miracle I"m up right now and not passed out on the floor. Poor little Devin got sick and threw up not once or twice but three times from 12-2 am!!! Of all the nasty smells there are vomit is one of the worst. I was ready to give up all dairy products last night after cleaning everything up. Gross! Caroline thought it was so cool being up late at night and was a champ about everything. I did about 3 loads of laundry before Devin's stomach finally settled down and we fell asleep. Pregnant people are not meant to sleep on the hard floor. After last night my bed has never felt so comfortable. So this morning we got some Gatorade for Devin and a doughnut for Caroline and some Reese's puffs for me since I think I deserved a little treat too. All was going well and then Devin threw up again! Red Gatorade all over my couch, great! (Thankfully we can just throw them in the wash.) Needless to say Dessert club is CANCELED for tonight. I'm really sad about it. Someone was going to bring spinach artichoke dip, my favorite! I'm rescheduling it for Saturday night 7:30 my place. Hopefully people can come. I'm just hoping that no one else gets sick and we can actually have it then. To top it off Shawn is on call tonight. So instead of making cheesecake and having fun we went to the doctor and will be staying inside all day. Wohoo! Why do things like this always happen on the worst day possible? I"m just glad no one else is out of commission!
