Aunt Poodle's Visit

Today was a sad day in our house. Aunt Poodle is on her way back to D.C. and we miss her already. We had SO much fun and laughed a lot! Some of the highlights of her trip. Playing at the beach, getting buried in the sand, having sand building competition which I TOTALLY won with my dome (not really it was sad) and getting 1/2 price Sonic slushes on the way home. We also made some really yummy treats like, pecan bars (very good) lemon-buttermilk sorbet (fabulous) and grilled peaches with marscapone cheese and honey (not my favorite.) We also tried doing P90x from her memory which was really fun and I'm sore today and we didn't even do the full workout. I also discovered I"m way funnier than I ever thought because Poodle laughed at me a lot when I had no idea I was being funny it was great. We had so much fun and are really sad she's gone. Shawn will be home for a day tomorrow so we're focusing on that to stay happy! Here are a few other pics from her visit.

Here are Poodle and the kids. Caroline was really sad and Devin of course had no clue what was going on, but he finally warmed up to her the last two days.

Here's another cute picture of Caroline with her favorite Poodle. We loved having her visit and I'm really going to miss getting foot rubs, having help with cleaning and taking naps in the middle of the day, but mostly just laughing all the time. Thank you SO much for coming we can't wait to see you at Thanksgiving!
