So here is my first project I've decided to do while Shawn is away. If you can't tell its a nursing cover. I decided I was tired of having blankets being kicked off of me and spending $40 on one isn't really in our budget, so I made one. I really like it. Definitely worth the 2 hours spent on it, and I"m slower than molasses when it come to making things. It only cost about $12 to make and I have enough stuff to make another. I"m really excited about all my projects, next up a Cinderella dress for Caroline's Halloween costume. I'm pretty sure its going to kick my butt. Luckily I have a friend who is an excellent seamstress and can help me along the way. If in a week I post an entry filled with profanity you can guess it isn't going well. We'll see how I do! I also need to make chaps and a vest for Devin's cowboy costume, a Christmas dress for Caroline, pj dress, Halloween bags, and maybe some stockings. I know I may only get the costumes done but I it's really nice to have something to keep me busy. This may be a boring blog for a while but not much else is going on.

You should go into business with the nursing covers. I'm sure Lindsey would like the pattern. Very nice! We can sew together now!! (or swear together)
