What Cuties!

Today was a great day to be a mom. My kids behaved really well (other than jumping off furniture at a friends house) and said and did some pretty adorable stuff. First in the morning Devin saw Caroline getting dressed and ready for the day. Wanting to be just like his big sister Devin decided it was also time to get dress and ran into his room searched through his shirts grabbed the same shirt he saw Caroline wearing and ran up to me and said, "on, on." It was really cute and I"m pretty sure Caroline was flattered. Later on we were headed out the door and Caroline commented that my shirt looked beautiful (it doesn't take much to be beautiful it was an old polo shirt) and asked if she looked pretty too. I told her that of course she did and then Caroline said some of the nicest things I've ever heard. She said,"I just want to be like you." All in all a great day for everyone. I love days like this. I just thought I'd document it for the wonderful years ahead when she tells me she hates me, at least for now she likes me.
