Like Mother, Like Son

Oh my cute little Devin.  He makes me smile. (usually)  This post is pretty late as are most of my posts as of late.  As most of you know Devin got glasses a few months ago.  It turns out he got his vision from me and the reason he was running into things was because he couldn't see not because he's clumsy.  He's been doing very well with them and prefers wearing them, yeah that's how bad his eyes are.  Anyways, his opthomoligist had a follow up appointment to see how his glasses were working.  Well the glasses work great but one of his eyes doesn't which is why he's in the patch.  We have to patch his good eye in hope that his weaker eye will strengthen.  And of course he's a good sport about it too.  He has to wear it for 6 hours a day which for him turns out being most of the day because of naps.  He is a real trooper and most mornings he reminds me, "Patch mommy."  Hopefully his eye is getting better and he won't have to wear it for too long.  I had the same thing when I was little and wore one for almost a year so hopefully we caught it soon enough.  We'll find out soon enough!
