SCAMMED!!!!!!!!

Remember how we got new phones not too long ago?  Well to help pay for them Shawn decided to sell his  iphone on ebay.  Good idea right?  Wrong!  It sold for a good amount and we were excited at first.  But when we got the shipping information the name and address was different than who had originally purchased the phone.  Thankfully Shawn's no dummy and told me not to mail it off.  We inquired the buyer about it and they said they were buying it for someone in overseas and needed it sent there.  Shawn was still weary so he called ebay and sure enough they had no record of anyone purchasing the iphone even though we had been sent emails saying the transaction had gone through.  So basically they wanted us to mail them a phone without actually paying for it.  Not the best experience ever.  On the bright side we didn't send the phone so we can still sell it but we're not to happy about the whole thing.  So to those selling/buying on ebay be careful!

Y'all are so smart to have not sent!! We had a bad ebay experience when we were first married and haven't used it since (we bought concert tickets, the concert was cancelled, and the person we bought the tickets from was refunded on their credit card but didn't refund us, so they were basically paid twice--lame!)

Way to go! I probably would have been snookered.

Landon almost got scammed on ebay too, but he was the buyer. I'd sell it on craigslist. The face to face transaction helps prevent fraud.
