100 Days and Celebrate!

Today marked Caroline's first 100 days of school.  I still remember my 2nd grade class celebrating 100 days of school.  We were asked what we would do if we had $100 and I wrote I would buy a car and then a house if I had any money left over.  I wasn't the brightest crayon in the box. I don't know if Caroline will remember this day 20 years later but it did seem like she had lots of fun. She came home decked out with a badge and some weird paper glasses she of course loves.  To celebrate her first 100 days I made a molten chocolate cake because it sounded good and its national chocolate cake day!  It would be criminal NOT to make a cake.  The cake wasn't very molten but still tasted great, just so you know when the recipe says sprinkle the flour on top of the batter don't dump it on, trust me.  Happy first 100 days of school Caroline!  Now everyone go eat some chocolate cake.

My smart, cute, way too attached to mommy, kindergarten kid.

Yummy cake!

Yum! That cake looks good. I haven't had sweets all week because we're out & I'm dying!
